Ducati has unveiled the Collezione 100 — ten limited-edition motorcycles to mark the brand's centenary, each capped at 100 numbered units worldwide. The collection was revealed during the Italian Grand Prix weekend at Mugello. Every bike is taken from Ducati's current production range and given a livery tied to a specific machine from the brand's past. These are not show bikes — they are road-legal motorcycles collectors can actually buy. Read on to learn more.
Ten Bikes, Ten Moments From Ducati's History
Each of the ten motorcycles references a different chapter. Here is what each one is and where its livery comes from. The Ducati Panigale V4 S 100 wears the silver of the 750 Imola Desmo that won the 1972 Imola 200 Miles race with Paul Smart and Bruno Spaggiari. The Panigale V2 S 100 takes
the yellow and burgundy of the 750 Super Sport Desmo that Franco Uncini rode to the 1975 Italian Championship title. The Streetfighter V4 S 100 is finished in the black and gold of the 1979 900 Sport Desmo Darmah. The Monster 100 carries the Italian tricolore from the 2008 Monster S4Rs Tricolore — the closing edition of the original Monster line.
The Ducati XDiavel V4 100 references the 750 Super Sport that Cook Neilson rode to victory at Daytona in 1977, nicknamed the California Hot Rod. The Diavel V4 RS 100 is finished in green, red, and white — the colours of the 1979 900 Replica, built to mark Ducati's 1978 Tourist Trophy win. The Multistrada V4 RS 100 draws from the 1979 500 SL Pantah, the first Ducati to use the now-iconic trellis frame. The Scrambler 100 goes back to the 1962 250 Scrambler — the original, built exclusively for the US market. The Hypermotard V2 SP 100 is inspired by the 860 that won the 1975 Montjuic 24-hour endurance race in Barcelona with Salvador Canellas and Benjamin Grau. The DesertX 100 takes its yellow and blue from the 1981 Pantah "Ice" — a Pantah modified for Alpine ice racing events.
What Comes With Each Bike and What Indian Buyers Need to Know
Every bike across the ten models gets Centenary Bronze brake callipers, a matching fuel filler cap, a numbered plaque on the steering head or triple clamp, embroidered Alcantara or leather seats carrying the Ducati 100 logo, and a dedicated startup animation on the TFT display. The V2-engined models — excluding the DesertX 100 and Scrambler 100 — also get a dry clutch conversion as part of the package.
Each buyer additionally receives a rear paddock stand, a motorcycle cover, a certificate of authenticity, and two numbered, signed art prints by Italian artist Ugo Nespolo. After Mugello, the collection will be shown at World Ducati Week from July 3 to 5, then at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, and finally at museums across Bologna.
For Indian buyers, these bikes would come in as CBU imports — the same route Ducati uses for the Panigale, Streetfighter, Multistrada and other models already sold here. No India-specific pricing has been announced. With only 100 units per model available globally, getting an allocation will require going through Ducati's official dealer network early. Once units are spoken for, there is no second batch.
