TVS is gearing up for the launch of the 2025 Raider 125 in India. The updated model has already been spotted at stockyards and dealerships. The updated Raider will compete in the hotly competitive 125cc commuter-premium segment. Core to its DNA, safety and performance credentials have likely been upped in this soon-to-arrive iteration, which will bring improved braking and handling to the table, while sitting on the same engine platform. With formidable rivals such as the Honda SP 125 and the Hero Glamour in this space, enhancements like these are what TVS is counting on to push more of a spotlight onto its own offering.

2025 TVS Raider 125: Key Mechanical Updates
The major upgrade for the 2025 Raider
125, as seen in recent spy pictures, is that it will now be available with single-channel Super Moto ABS and dual petal-type disc brakes at both ends. In doing so, it will find itself among a rare breed of bikes in its segment to offer a rear disc option. Wider tyres are being shod onto the Raider 125 by TVS — 90-section up front and 110-section at the rear — to take full advantage of the upgraded brake setup. Suspension duties continue to be handled by telescopic forks at the front and monoshock at the rear for better ride quality.
2025 TVS Raider 125: Engine And Performance
The new iteration of the Raider 125 is expected to continue with its current engine setup. Powered by a 124.8cc, air-cooled, three-valve single-cylinder engine, it delivers about 11.2 hp and 11.7 Nm of torque. This unit is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. TVS has focused this update purely on braking confidence and handling tweaks rather than output upgrades.
2025 TVS Raider 125: Features And Styling
The Raider will retain its current features like a fully digital instrument cluster, LED headlamps, and taillamps. It will also carry forward segment-first enhancements such as an optional 5-inch TFT display with voice assistance and navigation in the top trims. Changes on the cosmetic front are very minimal, except new paint jobs that can be seen to differentiate the updated version from its predecessor.
