Bentley Reveals Continental GT S And GTC S With Hybrid V8 Power - Check Out The Details Here

Bentley has expanded its Continental range by unveiling two new models globally - the Continental GT S coupe and Continental GTC S convertible. These new additions sit below the high-performance GT Speed but bring more power, advanced driving technology and a fresh sporty character compared to the regular Continental models.

Both new models are part of the fourth-generation Continental family and introduce Bentley’s new High Performance Hybrid powertrain. This setup is equipped with a 4.0-litre V8 petrol engine paired with an electric motor and together, they produce 680 PS (around 671 bhp) and 930 Nm of torque, making these S variants more powerful than the previous S models and even quicker than older W12-powered Speed versions.

Bentley claims the Continental GT S and GTC S can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.5 seconds, while top speed is rated at 306 kmph. At the same time, the hybrid system allows the car to run in electric-only mode for up to 80 km, depending on driving conditions, which means short city drives can be done silently and with zero fuel use. when pushed.

Bentley has given these models serious performance hardware as they use the brand’s Performance Active Chassis, which is a system earlier reserved for the GT Speed and Mulliner models. This includes active all-wheel drive, torque vectoring for better cornering, adaptive dampers and a 48V active anti-roll system to reduce body roll. For the first time on the Continental GT S, buyers also get all-wheel steering and an electronic limited-slip differential, both of which improve stability and agility at high speeds.

In normal settings, the car prioritises grip and safety. Switch to Dynamic mode and the car allows more rear movement for a sportier feel. Experienced drivers can even turn the systems off entirely.

The GT S and GTC S stand apart due to Bentley’s Blackline Specification. This includes black grille details, dark Bentley badges, black mirror caps, tinted LED headlamps and black exhaust tips. The cars ride on 22-inch alloy wheels as standard, with darker finishes available as options.

From the inside, the S variants get a sporty two-tone interior with Dinamica material, fluted seats, and Piano Black trim. Buyers can still personalise the cabin with carbon fibre, different veneers, and full leather options.

Bentley says these models are designed to bridge the gap between the standard Continental and the GT Speed, which offers more performance without losing everyday comfort. With hybrid power, sharper handling and bold styling, the Continental GT S and GTC S represent Bentley’s modern approach to luxury grand touring.

Bently Continental GT S and GTC S will compete directly with luxury performance grand tourers such as the Aston Martin DB12 and the Mercedes-AMG GT. While rivals focus heavily on pure petrol performance and sharp handling, Bentley’s approach stands out by combining strong V8 performance with hybrid technology.
