Mahindra is gearing up to unveil its all-electric seven-seater SUV, the XEV 9S, on November 27. The latest teaser offers a closer look at the cabin, revealing a triple-screen setup across the dashboard.
This includes a digital driver’s display, a large central infotainment screen, and a third screen for the front passenger. However, what’s new this time is the addition of rear-seat entertainment. The short clip shows passengers watching a football match while the SUV is stationary, hinting at built-in streaming or live TV functionality, likely supported by onboard Wi-Fi.
This isn’t the first time Mahindra has teased the XEV 9S. Previous videos confirmed features such as a “Boss Mode” that allows the front passenger seat to slide forward for more legroom in the second row, reclining rear seats, and even a memory function for the driver’s seat with three presets. These details make it clear that Mahindra wants to push the 9S toward the premium end of the EV market.

Cargo space also seems to be a highlight. Mahindra has already confirmed that the XEV 9S will offer both a rear luggage compartment and a front trunk (or frunk), a first for the brand. While exact capacities haven’t been disclosed, teaser visuals suggest generous storage in both spaces. A panoramic sunroof with ambient illumination will enhance the sense of openness on offer, while a Harman Kardon audio system will handle the sound duties. Though not officially confirmed, the setup is expected to support Dolby Atmos.
