The latest development in the mid-300cc adventure motorcycle segment sees the TVS Apache RTX 300’s flagship “BTO” (Built-To-Order) variant undergoing a price increase just weeks after launch. TVS Motor
Company has raised the ex-showroom price for the BTO trim, reflecting either rising costs or a strategic repositioning. While the base and top variants continue at their original prices, prospective buyers of the BTO should note the new rate and variant-specific features before placing their orders.

TVS Apache RTX 300: What's The New Price For The Variant?
When the Apache RTX 300 arrived on the Indian market, the BTO variant was priced at Rs 2.29 lakh. With the recent hike, the same BTO variant now retails for Rs 2.34 lakh, as reflected on the official website. Importantly, the base variant remains unchanged at Rs 1.99 lakh and the “Top” variant continues at Rs 2.14 lakh for now. All mentioned prices are ex-showroom figures.
The colour options for the BTO variant come in the form of Viper Green, Lightning Black, and Metallic Blue.
TVS Apache RTX 300: Which Variant Got Affected And Why?
As mentioned before, only the BTO variant has seen the price hike so far; the base and Top trims remain unaffected for the time being. The BTO model is distinguished by features tailored for enthusiasts: adjustable suspension, tyre-pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and other premium touches not available in the standard variants. Given these extras and its factory-custom build nature, the price adjustment may be due to added value and possible higher cost of these components.
TVS Apache RTX 300: What You Get With The BTO Model
The BTO variant of the Apache RTX 300 features the same 299cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine producing 35.5 hp and 28.5 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed transmission. Key premium inclusions: adjustable suspension, TPMS, built-to-order custom colours, 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels, and a 12.5-litre fuel tank. This setup positions the bike as a feature-rich adventure tourer rather than a basic commuter.

Buyer Impact
For buyers targeting the BTO variant, the Rs 5,000 hike means a revised budget and possibly higher on-road cost owing to regional taxes. However, the effect may not be that significant as the magnitude of the hike is not that much. Prospective buyers should confirm final on-road pricing (including registration, insurance and accessories) before booking.
