The Triumph Speed T4 is the brand’s new gateway into the world of modern roadsters, and it looks every bit the part. Priced at Rs 1.92 lakh (ex-showroom), this is the most affordable Triumph on sale in India,
but it still carries the design flair and quality feel you’d expect from the British brand.
You can get the Speed T4 in five striking shades: Baja Orange, Lava Red Gloss with Pearl Metallic White, Caspian Blue with Pearl Metallic White, Phantom Black with Storm Grey, and Phantom Black with Pearl Metallic White.

Under the tank sits a 398.15 cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder motor that produces 31 hp at 7,000 rpm and 36 Nm at 5,000 rpm. It runs a DOHC setup and is paired with a six-speed gearbox. On paper, those numbers may not sound extreme, but the tuning focuses on usable mid-range torque. The ARAI-certified mileage of the T4 is 30 km/l.
You get a steel hybrid frame with a bolt-on subframe and a twin-sided aluminium swingarm. Suspension duties are handled by a 43 mm telescopic fork with 140 mm of travel at the front and a gas-charged rear monoshock with 120 mm of travel and preload adjustment. Braking performance comes from a 300 mm front disc and a 230 mm rear disc, both equipped with dual-channel ABS.

The Speed T4 runs on 17-inch alloy wheels with 110/70 front and 140/70 rear tyres. The seat height is a friendly 806 mm, and at 180 kg (wet), it feels approachable even for newer riders. With a 13-litre fuel tank and a 1,406 mm wheelbase, it should comfortably handle both short commutes and longer weekend rides. The instrument cluster keeps things simple — a classic analogue speedometer paired with a small LCD screen for essential info.
