What The GST 2.0 Benefits Mean
The Council has reduced the GST rate on two-wheelers up to 350cc and auto components from 28% to 18%. Manufacturers are passing on this benefit to consumers
by lowering ex-showroom prices. Suzuki has noted that it has reworked prices for all variants so that the customers get the entire benefit of a reduced tax - not just a fraction of the saving.
Suzuki Price Reduction: Model-wise Savings
The press release from the brand outlines the maximum ex-showroom benefits that can be availed on different models: Access up to Rs 8,523, Avenis up to Rs 7,823, Burgman Street up to Rs 8,373, Gixxer up to Rs 11,520 and Gixxer SF 250 up to Rs 18,024 among others. Reductions are dependent on variant and city. Dealers will be releasing updated price lists from the effective date. Here's a detailed model-wise price cut table for your reference.
Spare Parts, Maintenance And Ownership Costs
As spare parts and accessories have also been included in the GST 2.0 tax reduction besides vehicle price reductions, Suzuki mentioned that lower parts pricing would ensure reduced maintenance costs in the long run, thus improving the total cost of ownership for a vehicle owner. When To Buy And Buyer Advice
The revised price will be effective with invoicing and registrations from September 22, 2025, onward. Buyers must reconfirm the variant ex-showroom price and on-road estimate at the dealership before placing any booking, because state registration charges and dealer fees may apply, thereby altering the final cost of the model.
