Mahindra is gearing up to add even more excitement to its electric SUV lineup, as the company has dropped a new teaser for a fresh edition of the Mahindra BE 6, confirming that it will make its debut on November
26, 2025. While Mahindra is keeping most details under cover for now, the teaser hints that this special edition could come with race-inspired styling, possibly taking cues from the brand’s growing involvement in Formula E.
The new edition is expected to form part of Mahindra’s “Scream Electric” event in Bengaluru on November 26–27. This is the same platform where Mahindra will also showcase the new XEV 9S and the brand promises visitors a look at its “Winning Formula”. Given this context, the upcoming BE 6 model could bring Formula E-style graphics, sporty decals and a more dynamic look, which will help Mahindra push a younger, performance-oriented image for its BE lineup.
From the teaser, the showcased SUV appears in a bold Orange shade, which gives it a sporty feel. The car seems to be in the Pack Two trim and Mahindra has made subtle but noticeable design changes. Instead of the standard BE 6’s signature C-shaped DRLs, the teaser shows sleeker LED eyebrow lights, positioned above the slightly lower-set headlamps. These changes suggest a reworked front bumper that helps distinguish this edition from the regular BE 6.
At the back, the BE 6 receives an updated and cleaner LED lightbar, replacing the C-shaped setup used earlier. However, popular BE 6 elements like the roof-mounted twin spoiler and aerodynamic wheel design remain. While the teaser shows regular road tyres, Mahindra could also consider offering all-terrain tyres, inspired by its 2023 Rall-E Concept.
The special edition is expected to continue with the familiar setup which is a rear-wheel-drive electric motor paired with either a 59 kWh or 72 kWh battery pack. However, there is a chance that Mahindra might also introduce an all-wheel-drive variant later, especially since the upcoming XEV 9S is rumoured to debut with a dual-motor configuration at the same event.
With electric SUVs gaining momentum in India, this sporty new BE 6 edition could help Mahindra strengthen its presence in the premium EV space.
