TVS Motor Company is ready to make a big move again and this time in the world of electric scooters. After stepping into the segment of adventure bikes, the company is now all set to introduce an all new electric scooter ‘M1-S electric’ maxi-scooter.
A maxi-scooter is a larger and more comfortable version of a regular scooter, as it usually offers more power, space and features, which is perfect for long rides and daily commutes. And now, TVS wants to make something electrifying in this category.
The TVS M1-S has been developed in collaboration with ION Mobility, which is a Singapore-based electric vehicle company. TVS first teased this scooter back in August, and now it has been teased again on the company’s Instagram handle, just before its
official global debut at EICMA 2025, which is one of the world’s biggest motorcycle shows held in Milan, Italy.
It will have a sharp, aerodynamic front design with twin LED headlamps, eyebrow-style daytime running lights (DRLs) and built-in turn indicators. The scooter will also feature a flat floorboard for extra comfort, a single-piece seat and a slim rear grab rail, which will give it both style and practicality.

Tech lovers will enjoy what’s inside too, as the M1-S is expected to come with a seven-inch TFT screen that shows important details like navigation, call and SMS alerts and other smart features. A smart key system is also expected, which will allow keyless start and access.
This electric scooter is expected to have a 4.3 kWh battery pack, which will produce an output of 16.76 horsepower and 45 Nm of torque.
While TVS hasn’t confirmed if the M1-S will launch in India right after EICMA, however industry insiders believe it is only a matter of time. Given TVS’s strong presence in the Indian market and the growing demand for stylish, powerful electric scooters, the M1-S could become a game-changer if it arrives here.
