June 2026 will be an exciting month for car enthusiasts in India. Maruti Suzuki is set to introduce its maiden flex-fuel passenger car, while Honda will likely announce prices for the ZR-V. The month is also anticipated to see refreshed models from premium stalwarts Mercedes-Benz and BMW. Maruti Suzuki Flex Fuel Vehicle
Expected Price: Rs 7 lakh to Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom)
Maruti Suzuki will pull the wraps off its first mass-market flex-fuel passenger vehicle in India. The car, which could be based on the WagonR or Fronx, will run on ethanol blends up
to E100. The launch is set to take place on World Environment Day, June 5. The flex-fuel vehicle is likely to have modifications in the fuel system, engine components, and ECU calibration to support high ethanol blends.
Mercedes-Benz S-Class Facelift
Expected Price: Rs 1.95 crore to Rs 2.40 crore (ex-showroom)
Mercedes-Benz will launch the updated S-Class facelift in India on June 15. The luxury sedan is likely to feature an updated exterior and interior alongside new technology. Major feature highlights include Superscreen setup and new MB.OS system. The updated Mercedes-Benz S-Class is expected to continue with petrol, diesel, and plug-in hybrid powertrain options. The key addition could be the S 450e plug-in hybrid, which uses a 3.0-litre turbo-petrol mill with an electric motor, and has an electric-only driving range of up to 100km. The existing S 450 petrol and S 350d diesel variants are also likely to remain on offer.
Honda ZR-V
Expected Price: Rs 28 lakh to Rs 35 lakh (ex-showroom)
Honda is expected to reveal prices for the ZR-V SUV in India. The Hybrid SUV recently made its debut alongside the launch of the new Honda City Facelift. It comes equipped with the automaker's strong hybrid e powertrain, and has a claimed fuel efficiency of 22.8km/l/ The Honda SUV offers a 10.25-inch fully digital driver display, Level 2 ADAS, 12-speaker Bose premium surround sound system and a 9-inch floating touchscreen.
BMW X6
Expected Price: Rs 1.15 crore to Rs 1.40 crore (ex-showroom)
BMW is likely to announce the prices for the new version of the X6 coupe-SUV in India after opening its bookings last month. The car will have a sporty styling and a sloping roofline. It is expected to arrive with powerful petrol and diesel engine options, along with BMW's latest curved display setup, advanced connected features, and premium interior materials.
Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella
Expected Price For E1 and E2: Rs 18 lakh to Rs 22 lakh (ex-showroom)
Toyota is expected to announce prices for the remaining variants (E1 and E2) of the Urban Cruiser Ebella this month. The brand has launched the top-spec E3 version of the Ebella EV in India for Rs 23.60 lakh. It comes with a larger 61kWh battery and a range of 543 kilometres. Similar to its cousin, the e-Vitara, the Ebella will also be offered with a 49kWh battery option. Key amenities of the SUV include a 10.1-inch floating touchscreen, a 10-speaker JBL premium audio system, a 10.25-inch digital driver's display, ventilated front seats, and a 10-way power-adjustable driver seat.
Maruti Suzuki Brezza Facelift
Expected Price: Rs 9 lakh to Rs 15 lakh (ex-showroom)
Maruti Suzuki is also expected to launch the updated Brezza this month. The compact SUV could sport cosmetic revisions, new features, and technology upgrades.
