Mahindra has launched the updated Bolero in India, marking a mid-life facelift for one of its most popular SUVs. The changes are mostly cosmetic, with the mechanical setup and core character remaining the same. However, there are notable updates in design, features, and pricing.
The new Bolero range starts at Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base B4 variant and goes up to Rs 9.69 lakh for the top-spec B8. Inside, Mahindra has upgraded the cabin with a 17.8 cm touchscreen infotainment system, steering-mounted controls, USB Type-C charging port, and leatherette upholstery on the top B8 trim. The B6 and B6(O) variants now get additional creature comforts such as power windows, central locking, and a digital cluster.
A new suspension setup, branded as RideFlo technology, promises better ride comfort and stability on rough terrain. Despite these updates, the Bolero continues to use the same 1.5-litre mHAWK75 diesel engine, producing 76 hp and 210 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Mahindra has also added a new top variant, the B8, which sits above the previous B6(O). It comes equipped with features like diamond-cut alloy wheels, leatherette seats, and fog lamps.
