Vida, the electric mobility brand owned by Hero MotoCorp, has launched the DIRT.E K3, which is an electric off-road motorcycle specially designed for kids aged 4 to 10 years. This new model marks the company’s entry into the “kids’ electric adventure” segment, making off-road riding safer, smarter and more accessible for young beginners.
The DIRT.E K3 is launched with an introductory price of Rs 69,990 for the first 300 units and parents can book this bike on the brand’s official website. Actual retail sales will begin from January 15, 2026, across select dealerships in Delhi, Bengaluru, Pune, Jaipur and Calicut. The bike will be sold in three colours which are red, purple and white.

Prepares To Appeal
One of the most innovative features of the DIRT.E K3 is its size-adaptive design. Instead of buying a new bike every time a child grows taller, Vida has designed an adjustable frame that can switch between three sizes - Small, Medium and Large. These adjustments change the bike’s height and wheelbase, allowing children to ride comfortably for several years.
Battery and Power
The DIRT.E K3 runs on a 350W electric motor, capable of producing 500W peak power. It uses a 360Wh removable battery that can be charged at home within three hours. To help kids learn gradually, Vida offers three riding modes, which are-
- Beginner - 8 km/h
- Amateur - 16 km/h
- Pro - 25 km/h
The DIRT.E K3 is the result of combined engineering from Hero’s Tech Centre Germany and the Centre of Innovation and Technology in Jaipur. Production will take place at Hero’s EV plant in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, highlighting Hero MotoCorp’s growing investment in future mobility.
Safety and Real Off-Road
Even though it is designed for kids, the DIRT.E K3 includes serious safety hardware, such as 16-inch spoked wheels for off-road grip, rear hydraulic disc brake to prevent front wheel skidding, child-sized brake lever, over-moulded wiring harness, impact-absorbing body parts and magnetic lanyard kill switch that instantly cuts power if the child falls.
With the DIRT.E K3, Vida is making electric mobility fun and accessible even for young riders. The model blends safety, smart technology and child-focused engineering, which will give families an entirely new way to enjoy motorcycling.
