Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has had an exciting start to the festive season as the company sold 42,892 vehicles in October 2025, which marks a 39% year-on-year growth compared to 30,845 units in October 2024. This includes 40,257 units sold in the domestic market and 2,635 units exported.
Compared to September 2025, when TKM sold 31,091 units, sales rose by a 38% month-on-month, which shows strong festive demand across the country.
The festive season which is usually the most crucial period for carmakers in India has brought growth to Toyota’s dealerships, as the company introduced special festive editions and exclusive styling updates. The Urban Cruiser Hyryder Aero Edition and the 2025 Fortuner Leader Edition became demanding among customers
for their fresh looks, sporty design and premium features. Both models are now available for bookings and deliveries at Toyota’s authorized dealerships across India.

According to Varinder Wadhwa, Vice President of Sales, Service, and Used Car Business at TKM, the impressive growth reflects Toyota’s focus on innovation and customer satisfaction. He said, “Our growth stands as a testament to the seamless synergies across our operations and the unwavering commitment to customer-centricity.” He added that the new editions, combined with positive market sentiment and supportive government GST reforms, increased buyer confidence, customer inquiries and bookings.
Beyond new car sales, Toyota is also expanding its areas in the used car segment, with a new pre-owned outlet opening in Chandigarh, which offers certified cars under its “Toyota U-Trust” program.

The combination of fresh product launches, festive offers, GST 2.0 and improved market confidence has clearly workedout in Toyota’s favor.
