As 2026 begins, Volkswagen India has updated the prices of its Virtus. But in a surprising move, the brand has reduced the price of the base variant, which is Virtus Comfortline by Rs 66,000. This brings
its new starting price to Rs 10.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
While the entry-level variant is now more affordable, most other Virtus variants have become expensive. The Highline AT and GT Line MT variants have seen the highest price hike of Rs 51,000. The Highline Plus MT is now costlier by Rs 46,000, while the Highline Plus AT has gone up by Rs 45,000.
The Topline AT has received only a minor price increase of Rs 2,000, which makes it one of the least affected variants. Models powered by the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine with a manual gearbox are now Rs 10,000 more expensive, while the dual-clutch automatic (DSG) variants see price hikes of up to Rs 30,000. As of January 7, 2026, the Volkswagen Virtus price range starts at Rs 10.50 lakh and goes up to Rs 19 lakh. Here is the full variant price list
