Why This Matters
The Toyota Fortuner has been one of India’s most wanted SUVs for over a decade as it is known for its muscular road presence, powerful engine options and also reliability. The Legender, on the other hand is a premium version of the Fortuner, which adds more style and luxury to the mix with its sharper design and extra features.
With these big reduction in the prices, both SUVs are now even more attractive for big car enthusiasts who want a blend of power and luxury with practicality.
The new GST 2.0 regime, which was effective from September 22 or the first day of Navratri, reduces tax rates on cars and SUVs, bringing down overall costs for customers. For Toyota, this rate cut has created the perfect opportunity to boost festive season sales while giving buyers significant savings.
