Built on BYD’s dedicated e-Platform 3.0, which is designed specifically for electric vehicles, the Atto 3 promises enhanced safety, efficiency, and driving comfort. It uses the company’s famous Blade Battery technology, known globally for its strong safety record and durability.

Variants and Battery Options

The BYD Atto 3 is offered in two main variants which are Dynamic and Premium/Superior that cater to different types of EV buyers.

• Dynamic Variant: Comes with a 49.92 kWh battery that delivers a claimed range of 468 km (ARAI).
• Premium/Superior Variants: Equipped with a larger 60.48 kWh battery offering up to 521 km of range on a single charge.

Both versions produce 201 bhp of power which ensures smooth and responsive acceleration. Charging is also convenient in this electric SUV as the Atto 3 supports 80 kW DC fast charging, which can charge the battery from 0% to 80% in about 50 minutes. For home charging, it takes around 8 to 10 hours using a 7.2 kW AC charger.
