Hero MotoCorp has taken a new direction at EICMA 2025 with the debut of its new micro electric four-wheeler, the NEX 3, under the company’s upcoming ‘Novus’ range from its VIDA sub-brand. The NEX 3 marks Hero’s first serious foray into compact electric vehicles, hinting at a futuristic urban mobility solution that could rival the practicality once offered by the Tata Nano.
The NEX 3 features a tandem seating layout, accommodating two passengers one behind the other, and rides on four wheels. Designed as an all-weather personal EV, it promises the convenience of a small footprint with the added assurance of enclosed comfort, making it suitable for both cities and rural areas.
Speaking at the unveiling, Hero MotoCorp Executive Chairman Pawan Munjal
said, “Novus symbolises renewal and reinvention… it reimagines how the world will move, shaping a future that’s inspiring, intelligent and inclusive.” He added that the NEX 3 reflects this philosophy by combining practicality with forward-looking design.
