JSW MG Motor India has emerged as the second-largest player in India’s luxury electric vehicle (EV) segment, driven by the strong performance of the MG Cyberster and the MG M9. Both models continue to see steady demand, with waiting periods currently extending to three to four months. The company also announced that the MG Cyberster has become the highest-selling sports car in India. Launched in July 2025, the all-electric roadster has sold 256 units in just two months through MG’s dedicated luxury retail network, MG SELECT.
The MG Cyberster represents a modern reinterpretation of MG’s classic MGB Roadster. Designed as a two-seater, its sculpted design features electric scissor doors, a soft-top roof, sharp LED DRLs, and a Kammback-style rear
with active aerodynamic components.

Power comes from a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system producing 510 PS and 725 Nm of torque. The Cyberster accelerates from 0–100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and offers a dynamic driving experience that rivals established sports cars. Brembo four-piston front brake callipers bring the car to a stop from 100 km/h in just 33 meters, while 20-inch staggered alloy wheels wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero tyres provide excellent grip and handling balance.
Alongside its product success, JSW MG Motor India continues to expand its premium retail footprint. The company has inaugurated 14 MG SELECT Experience Centres across major cities in India. Both the MG Cyberster and the MG M9 are displayed at MG SELECT showrooms.
