When the vibe of Las Vegas met McLaren’s design and performance acumen, the result was the one-of-one Project Viva based on the 750S Spider. Developed by McLaren Special Operations (MSO), this bespoke
supercar merges racecar engineering with the glitz of Sin City in unexpected ways. With hand-painted graphics, hidden storytelling cues and elite performance under the skin, this is not just a car, it is a mobile art piece celebrating heritage and speed alike. Here are the standout highlights of this extraordinary machine.

Project Viva’s exterior purposely plays with the image of Las Vegas, yet via a sleek, monochrome expression. MSO crafted a hand-painted finish combining Muriwai White and a Vettel-named “Vegas Nights” black infused with cyan, magenta and green metallic flecks. Embedded in the surface are references to the city’s neon signage, iconic landmarks like the replica Eiffel Tower and the City of Lights’ gambling heritage: dice, roulette motifs, and the “Welcome to Fabulous” style sign reworked for McLaren. This visual treatment transforms the 750S Spider into a rolling narrative of Las Vegas glam and racing DNA.Performance DNA & Engineering
Beneath its unique exterior, Project Viva retains the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 from the 750S range, producing 740 hp and 800 Nm of peak torque. Its lightweight carbon-fibre Monocage II chassis, rapid-acting gear sequence, and rear-wheel-drive layout deliver typical McLaren supercar acceleration and prowess. While the one-off nature of the car means it is unlikely destined for mass production, all its mechanical underpinnings reflect McLaren’s high-performance standard for its Super Series.
Unique Interior Elements
The cabin features bespoke trim and finishes, such as custom graphics, stylised details referencing McLaren’s racing legacy, and the signatures of F1 drivers who contributed to the project. Rather than simply adding colourful upholstery, MSO opted for refined detailing. These include elements that speak to craft, exclusivity and narrative.

Showpiece Role And Lifestyle Ambition
Project Viva is both a statement piece and collector’s showcase. Unveiled ahead of the Las Vegas Grand Prix, the car will be displayed at the Wynn Las Vegas McLaren Experience Centre. It is designed to highlight MSO’s bespoke capabilities and signal McLaren’s willingness to blend bespoke artistry with track-ready hardware.
