MG Motor India has just unveiled the brand-new MG Majestor SUV. This comes right after one year since the model was showcased at the Bharat Mobility Show 2025. The Majestor will be positioned above the Gloster as the brand's flagship model. This MG model will take on the likes of the Toyota Fortuner Legender, Skoda Kodiaq and the upcoming Volkswagen Tayron R-Line. The price details have not been announced yet, but the brand has made several important announcements. The bookings for the Majestor are now open for a token amount of Rs 41,000, while the deliveries will begin in May 2026. Here's all you need to know.

Powertrain Option
Starting with
the mechanical side of things, the MG Majestor will be powered by a 2-litre twin-turbo diesel engine, which will be mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The model boasts an optional four-wheel-drive setup to enhance its off-road potential. The power figure stands at about 216 hp. The torque has not yet been revealed.
Design Cues
As for the design, the model showcases a very commanding presence. MG has asserted that it is the tallest, widest and even the longest in its segment. The exterior is characterised by a Mosaic Matrix grille with Dragon-Eye DRLs and Tri-beam LED headlights. The side profile adorns 19-inch dual tone alloy wheels, which again, as claimed by MG, are largest in its segment. At the back, you will notice an LED connected taillamp, updated bumper and 'Majestor' badging. Other highlights include muscular and upright posture, along with plastic cladding. The SUV has an 810 mm water wading capacity and is built to run smoothly on flooded roads.
Interior Highlights
Coming to the feature suite, the car has a host of amenities such as a 12.3-inch infotainment unit, ambient lighting, selectable drive modes (2H, 4H, 4L), Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ventilated seats, a 12-speaker JBL speaker system, 64-colour ambient lighting, a fully digital instrument cluster, a panoramic sunroof and 12-way adjustable driver seat.
The safety quotient is enhanced by adaptive cruise control, hill-descent control, lane-keeping assist, six airbags, a 360-degree camera, automatic emergency braking and ADAS Level 2.

Variant Options And Expected Price
The Majestor will be available in three variants: Sharp 4x2, Sharp 4x4 and Savvy 4x4. Although the price announcement is still pending, we can estimate it to hover around Rs 40 lakh to Rs 45 lakh.
