The upcoming Tata Sierra SUV continues to stir excitement ahead of its India launch with a fresh teaser that reveals a dual-screen cabin layout for the more accessible trims. While earlier teasers showed
a three-screen setup, this latest version confirms lower and mid-variant models will feature a simplified dashboard with two large displays and a head-up display (HUD). This basically indicates smart trim differentiation. Therefore, buyers looking at the entry-priced variants will not have to sacrifice tech flair, yet the brand retains clear tiering across the lineup. Here is a closer look at what was revealed.

Tata Sierra: Dual-Screen Layout For Affordable Variants
In a recent teaser, Tata Motors revealed the cabin with a premium layered dashboard in lighter shades. There is a wide floating infotainment screen and a separate digital driver display. The top trim continues to carry forward the earlier revealed three-screen setup. The dual-screen version gets a head up display for the first time in Sierra, which was not shown in the triple screen variant, thereby highlighting strong technology offering even in the lower variants. The interior controls have been moved around a bit however, getting some of the physical buttons and toggles back and replacing some of the touch-only controls.
Tata Sierra: Difference Between Lower and Flagship Variants
The teaser reveals that while styling and material quality remain consistent across variants, key tech upgrades are trimmed for cost. For instance, the premium front-passenger display (third screen) is omitted. Moreover, dual-zone climate control and ventilated seats may be reserved for higher trims. The cabin retains strong hardware which includes a premium steering wheel, ambient lighting across door panels and dash layers, a wireless phone charger, as well as a sleek centre console layout. These features suggest the lower-trim Sierra maintains a premium feel, and at the same time allows Tata to price it below the flagship variant.

Tata Sierra: Why This Matters For Buyers
The move to include a dual-screen setup in more affordable trims speaks to broader buyer expectations. Many buyers looking at SUVs today prioritise infotainment, digital displays and premium cabin feel over engine power alone. For the Sierra, this means you will not need to opt for the highest trim just to get the premium tech feel. The clearer differentiation between trims gives the brand flexibility in pricing and positioning.
