The updated Honda City without any camouflage has been spotted in India for the first time. The images show the sedan’s redesigned front-end, with a new and wider honeycomb-pattern grille, slender LED headlamps, and a revised bumper with larger air inlets. The Honda badge has now moved to the bonnet, while the alloy wheels have a fresh design. The rear section is not seen in the leaked image. Industry speculations, however, indicate that Honda's mid-size sedan will keep the freshness seen on the front continued with new taillamps and a tweaked bumper. The Honda City has always enjoyed strong reputation for comfort, reliability, rear-seat space, and its fuel-efficient hybrid powertrain. While the Japanese carmaker will maintain the core design of
the sedan, it will likely give it a more sharper design, and more features to keep it relevant in today's competitive mid-size sedan segment.

Honda City Facelift Interior and Features
The leaked images do not show interior, but the revised City sedan is expected to receive a more modern-looking cabin with advanced features. Honda could equip the car with a larger infotainment system, replacing the existing 8.0-inch one. The sedan is also anticipated to get a powered driver’s seat, revised trim finishes, new upholstery options, ventilated front seats, and a 360-degree camera.
Honda City Facelift Engine
Given it will be a mid-life cycle refresh, Honda is unlikely to make any changes in the powertrain setup. The mid-size Honda sedan is expected to offer the same 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol unit that produces 121hp and 145Nm, and is mated to either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a CVT automatic transmission. The strong hybrid e:HEV variant will also likely remain unchanged, with 126hp and comes paired with an e-CVT gearbox.
