Hyundai has set the benchmark for electric cars with its Creta Electric, which is known for its strong presence, comfort and reliability. The Creta has already made a name for itself in petrol and diesel versions. Now, Hyundai has taken a big step forward with the electric version which combines familiar design with modern EV technology.
Battery Pack
Hyundai Creta EV is available in two battery options - one with a 42 kWh battery and another with a 51.4 kWh battery. These batteries power an advanced Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor, which delivers instant acceleration and a smooth, silent driving experience.
The 42 kWh variant produces about 133 bhp and offers a range between 390 and 420 km, which makes it ideal for city driving and short weekend trips.
The larger 51.4 kWh battery initiates the game further with 169–171 bhp and a range of 473 to 510 km which is enough to comfortably long travels in single charge. Both models come with Eco, Normal, and Sport drive modes that allow drivers to choose between efficiency and performance.
Charging
Charging the Creta EV is simple as well with an 11 kW AC charger. The SUV can go from 10% to 100% in under 5 hours, while a 50 kW DC fast charger can top it up from 10% to 80% in just 58 minutes, which is perfect for quick breaks on road trips.

Exterior
On the outside, the Creta EV looks futuristic yet familiar which features R17 Aero Alloy wheels designed for better efficiency and lower runs. From the inside, Hyundai continues its premium approach with a panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, wireless charging and a Bose sound system on higher trims. The 433-liter boot and 22-liter front trunk also known as ‘frunk’ add more to its practicality.
Safety
Safety is a major highlight in this car with six airbags, ABS, TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System), and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) in top variants. Connectivity features like Hyundai Bluelink, Google/Alexa integration and OTA updates make it one of the smartest SUVs in its segment.
