What Led Maruti Suzuki To This Growth?
For the strong figures achieved during the span of FY2025–26, Maruti Suzuki credited the rising demand in the domestic market, particularly in the second half owing to the reduction in GST rate cuts. That said, the automaker highlighted that production constraints limited its overall sales potential, with an estimated 1.90 lakh pending orders at the end of the year, including 1.30 lakh units in the small car market. Although there is no official confirmation on the launch timelines, Maruti Suzuki planning to give its two most popular models in the lineup, the Brezza and the Fronx, a mid-life cycle update for 2026. Both models will feature substantial changes, including a hybrid setup on the Fronx.
