1. Victoris LXi Design Features:
In terms of design, while the dimensions, upright
stance and glass area of the Victoris remain standard, some elements are not as flashy as the higher trims.
Specifically, the Victoris LXi base variant gets a halogen projector headlamp and parking lamps setup, it also gets the chrome front grille garnish and a skid plate. However, it does not offer the LED projectors or the LED DRLs found in higher variants. Fog lamps are also omitted in the LXi variant. On the side profile, the Victoris LXi offers steel wheels with full wheel covers, ORVMs with turn indicators, aero vents and aero edges.
At the rear, it gets an LED taillamp setup but misses out on the connected LED taillamp element seen in higher trims. It does get a rear defogger, shark fin antenna, roof spoiler and an LED high-mount stop lamp.
2. Interior and Features of Victoris LXi:
On the inside, the base variant Victoris SUV does get a dual-tone theme of ivory and black shade and the door armrests get a black fabric. For the driver, the LXi Victoris offers a 4.2-inch digital MID display instead of the 10.25-inch screen in top trims. Infotainment is taken care of by a 7-inch touchscreen and a set of door speakers.
Other features include adjustable headrests, 60:40 folding rear seats, push start-stop and automatic climate control with a pollen-resistant air filter. Additionally, A front sliding armrest, adjustable tilt and telescopic power steering and keyless entry make the value proposition better.
3. Safety features in the base LXi Victoris SUV:
Safety has not been compromised in the Victoris LXi variant as it offers 6 airbags and a suite of active and passive safety features such as Seat-Belt Pre-Tensioners, ESP, Traction Control, Hill-Hold Assist, ANS and EBD. The Victoris has also scored a 5-star safety rating for both adult and child occupants in Bharat NCAP and Global NCAP crash safety tests.
4. Engine And Transmission Option In Victoris LXi:
In terms of the drive train on offer in the most affordable Victoris variant, customers will get the K15C Smart Hybrid, a 1.5-litre petrol engine. It produces 101 hp and 139 Nm of torque and is paired to the 5-speed manual transmission. This setup gives the Victoris LXi a claimed fuel efficiency figure of 21.18 kmpl.
5. Colour Options In Victoris Base Variant:
In terms of colour options, the LXi variant can only be had in three different shades. These are the Splendid Silver, Magma Grey and Pearl Arctic White.
Considering that the most affordable Victoris LXi variant does not skip on safety, gets all necessary exterior and interior elements and also offers a highly-efficient drivetrain, the Rs 10.49 lakh ex-showroom seems like a well-balanced proposition for the Arena flagship car. However, what remains to be seen is if higher-trim SUVs from the lower segments will attract buyers towards them instead.
