Kia is steadily building its presence in India’s compact SUV space, and the new Syros HTX (O) shows exactly how the brand plans to stay ahead. Priced at Rs 14,99,900, this top-spec variant (just below the HTX+ trims) is aimed at buyers who want a premium feel without stretching into the highest price bracket.
Technology
Step inside the Syros HTX (O), and the first thing you notice is the large display setup. Kia offers a 31.24 cm (12.3-inch) HD touchscreen infotainment system along with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. Together, they form what Kia calls a Trinity Panoramic Display, giving the dashboard a modern, high-tech look.
You also get wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, so you can connect your phone without cables. There’s a 5-inch
touchscreen just for AC controls, which keeps things simple and easy to use.
On top of that, Kia Connect 2.0 allows remote features like tracking the car, checking status, and even updating software through OTA (Over-The-Air) updates—similar to how smartphones get updates.
Comfort Features
Kia has focused heavily on comfort in this variant. The Syros HTX (O) offers front and rear ventilated seats, which is still rare in this segment. This means the seats can blow cool air. Rear seats are also 60:40 split, and they can slide, recline, and even offer ventilation for the base cushion. Add to that a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, and the cabin feels airy and premium. Other convenience features include a smart key with push-button start, auto-dimming inside rear-view mirror, wireless charging, and paddle shifters in the automatic version.

Safety Features
Safety is where the Syros HTX (O) really stands out. It comes with Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), which includes features like forward collision avoidance assist, lane keep assist and rear parking collision avoidance. In total, there are 20+ safety features, along with 6 airbags as standard. The SUV has also scored a 5-star rating in Bharat NCAP, making it one of the safer options in its class.
Engine Options And Performance
The Syros HTX (O) gives you two engine choices:
- 1.0L Turbo Petrol - 118 bhp and 172 Nm torque
- 1.5L Diesel - around 114 bhp and 250 Nm torque
Size, Space And Road Presence
With a length of 3995 mm and ground clearance of 189 mm, the Syros fits well in city conditions while still offering a strong road presence. Inside, there’s good practicality with 23 storage spaces and a boot capacity of up to 465 litres, thanks to sliding rear seats.
The Kia Syros HTX (O) is clearly designed for buyers who want more than just basic transport. It blends technology, comfort, and safety in a way that feels modern but not complicated.
