The Hyundai Venue Bharat NCAP rating 2026 could be one of the major factors for gauging the safety credentials of the compact SUV before purchasing it. The Venue achieved five stars across adult and child occupant protection. The HX2 diesel-manual and HX10 diesel-automatic variants were put through the testing under the Bharat NCAP programme. Adult Occupant Protection Rating Explained
The SUV attained 31.15/32 points for adult occupant protection. It was put through a couple of assessments, including the frontal offset deformable barrier test, where it was driven at 64km/h into a heavy barrier to mimic a head-on collision. During the evaluation, the Hyundai SUV showed good protection to the head and pelvis regions of both the driver and the passenger. However, protection to the feet and the chest of the driver was deemed adequate. In this test, the Venue scored 15.15/16.
In the side movable, deformable barrier test, the car earned 16/16. The full marks highlighted good protection for the head, chest, abdomen, and pelvis regions of the occupants. The Venue also gets an 'ok' clearance for the side pole impact test.

The compact SUV earned 44.46/49 points for child occupant protection. The tests were carried out using two dummies: an 18-month-old child as well as a 3-year-old child. They were both positioned securely in child seats. The dynamic score of the Hyundai SUV stands at 23.46/24, while the CRS installation score is 12/12. The vehicle assessment score was 9/13. The dynamic and installation scores reflect how well child restraints protect and anchor young occupants. The SUV, however, did lose a few points in the vehicle assessment section.

The test car was packed with a critical safety kit, including six airbags (front, side, and curtain), ESC, ISOFIX, and seatbelt pretensioners. The vehicle's bodyshell was officially rated as stable.
