Mahindra has revealed the biggest update planned for the Scorpio N facelift ahead of its expected debut with fresh spy shots showing the SUV's interior completely undisguised. The latest images confirm a redesigned dashboard, larger displays and several new features that were missing on the current model. Unlike the cabin, the exterior appears to receive only subtle styling revisions. Mechanically, the Scorpio N is expected to continue with its existing petrol and diesel engine options. With the interior now out in the open, buyers have a much clearer idea of what the updated SUV will bring before its official launch.
Redesigned Dashboard Brings A More Modern Cabin
The facelifted Scorpio N receives its biggest changes inside the cabin. Spy images show an all-new dashboard layout with a larger
freestanding touchscreen infotainment system and a fully digital instrument cluster. While Mahindra has not confirmed the display sizes, multiple reports suggest both units are likely to be 10.25 inches, replacing the smaller screens offered on the current SUV.
Another visible change is the repositioning of the central air conditioning vents which now sit below the touchscreen. The centre console has also been revised, although physical controls for the dual-zone climate control have been retained. The steering wheel design appears familiar but the dashboard itself takes inspiration from Mahindra's latest SUVs including the Thar Roxx. The brown and black dual-tone interior theme also continues with revised trim detailing.
Feature List Could Grow
The updated Scorpio N is expected to gain features that are already becoming common in this segment. Based on the latest test vehicle and industry reports, a panoramic sunroof is likely to replace the single-pane unit offered today. A 360-degree camera system is also expected while reports indicate Level 2 ADAS could be introduced on higher variants. Mahindra has not officially confirmed these features yet.
Other equipment such as ventilated front seats, wireless phone charging, a powered driver's seat, Sony-branded audio system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and dual-zone climate control are expected to continue.
Outside, the changes appear evolutionary instead of extensive. Test vehicles have been spotted with revised alloy wheels, while updates to the front grille, bumpers and lighting elements are expected. However, the Scorpio N's overall proportions and body structure remain unchanged.
No Mechanical Changes Expected
Under the bonnet, the facelift is expected to continue with the existing 2.0-litre mStallion turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engines. Transmission options are likely to remain a six-speed manual and a six-speed torque-converter automatic, while four-wheel drive should continue to be available on selected diesel variants.
The latest spy shots suggest Mahindra has focused this update on technology, convenience and safety instead of changing the SUV's mechanical package. Final specifications, variant-wise features and pricing will only be confirmed once the Scorpio N facelift makes its official debut which is widely expected around mid-August 2026.
