Toyota has entered the electric vehicle space in India with the Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella. This is an important launch as it is Toyota’s first fully electric SUV in the country and marks a clear shift towards cleaner mobility. However, Toyota has not revealed the prices yet.

The Ebella is based on the Maruti e Vitara, but Toyota has given it a unique look. It is 4285 mm long and has 180 mm ground clearance. In simple terms, it is a proper family SUV with enough space for five people and can handle uneven roads easily.

Toyota is offering two battery choices, which are-
- 49 kWh (E1 variant) produces 142 bhp and offers about 440 km range.
- 61 kWh (E2 & E3 variants) produces 172 bhp and offers up to 543 km range.
The Ebella comes with front-wheel drive and delivers 193 Nm torque. Electric
cars feel smooth because power comes instantly. It can go from 0 to 100 km/h in around 9.25 seconds, which is good for daily use.
Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella Charging And Practical Use
Charging is quick and simple. With a fast charger, the battery can go from 10% to 80% in about 45 minutes. This makes it easier to plan longer journeys without long waiting times.
