In his post on X, Chahal wrote, “Brought my new car home with the two people who made every dream possible. Watching my parents witness and relish this milestone is the real luxury.” The message quickly caught the attention of fans, who praised both the car and the sentiment
behind the purchase.
From the photos, it appears that Chahal has chosen the eye-catching Thundernight Metallic shade, a deep purple colour that looks especially striking on a sporty convertible like the Z4. The BMW Z4 is known for its long, low-slung design that immediately delivers performance. At the front, it features BMW’s signature kidney grille with a horizontal pattern, flanked by sharp LED headlights. The long bonnet and wide stance give the car a proper sports car look. At the rear, slim L-shaped LED taillights, a sporty spoiler and dual exhausts add to its aggressive appeal. The car also comes with red-painted M Sport brake calipers, glossy black exterior accents and black mirror caps as standard.
From the inside, the Z4 offers a cabin that feels both luxurious and sporty. It gets high-gloss black interior trim, ambient lighting and dual-zone automatic climate control. The electrically adjustable seats come with memory function, which makes it easy for multiple drivers to find their preferred seating position. Despite being a two-seater, the Z4 is quite practical for its type, offering extra storage behind the seats, cupholders under the centre armrest and large door pockets.
The BMW Z4 M40i Pure is loaded with modern features. These include Comfort Access keyless entry, an electrically operated soft-top roof, adaptive LED headlights, high beam assist and a Harman Kardon surround sound system. Tech lovers will appreciate the 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and touchscreen infotainment system running BMW Operating System 7.0. It supports wireless Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth connectivity and navigation with 3D maps. Safety and convenience are handled by features such as a rear-view camera, parking assistant, driving assistant systems and wireless phone charging.
Under the hood, Chahal’s BMW Z4 M40i Pure is powered by a 3.0-litre, straight-six petrol engine that produces an impressive 340 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. Paired with an automatic gearbox, the car can sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in just 4.5 seconds, making it one of the quickest convertibles on Indian roads.
