Skoda India has finally launched the Octavia RS today, marking the return of one of its most popular enthusiast-focused nameplates. The performance sedan is priced at Rs 49.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It is known
for its blend of everyday usability and serious performance. The Octavia RS packs a powerful turbo-petrol engine, sport-tuned suspension, and distinctive RS styling cues. The model has several upgrades over the standard Octavia, including a more aggressive design, premium interior touches, and advanced driver-assistance features. With the performance sedan segment heating up, this launch is one of Skoda’s biggest highlights of 2025.

New Skoda Octavia RS: Engine Specs
Powering the Octavia RS is a 2.0-litre TSI turbocharged petrol engine that delivers 261 hp and 370 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch DSG transmission, sending power exclusively to the front axle. Skoda says the car can sprint from 0–100 km/h in 6.4 seconds, with a top speed of 250 km/h. The performance package also includes a sport-tuned suspension and a dedicated RS exhaust system, both designed to sharpen dynamics and enhance the overall driving experience compared to the standard Octavia.
New Skoda Octavia RS: Dimensions And Design Cues
In terms of dimensions, the car measures 4,709 mm in length, 1,829 mm in width, and 1,457 mm in height, with a 2,677 mm wheelbase. It offers a 600-litre luggage capacity, which can be expanded to 1,555 litres, along with a 50-litre fuel tank.
The Octavia RS features 19-inch dual-tone alloys, a sportier front and rear bumper design, black trim highlights, a rear spoiler, and blacked-out emblems, giving it a purposeful, performance-ready look. Buyers can opt for Mamba Green, Race Blue, Velvet Red, Magic Black, or Candy White, covering both bold and understated finishes.

On the equipment front, the sedan comes with a 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless charging, a 10-inch digital instrument cluster, HUD display, an 11-speaker premium Canton sound system, powered front seats, triple-zone climate control, and a powered tailgate for added convenience.

New Skoda Octavia RS: Safety Suite
The safety quotient is enhanced by Electronic Stability Control (ESC), ABS with EBD, blind spot detection, multi-collision braking, adaptive cruise control, ten airbags, and ISOFIX child seat mounts.
It is important to note that all 100 units of the sedan are already spoken for. Deliveries are set to begin on November 6, 2025.
