Kawasaki has significantly slashed the prices of its off-road motorcycle, the KLX 230, following the implementation of the new GST 2.0 structure. The bike, which was already more affordable after local production began, has now become even more accessible.
The KLX 230 was initially sold in India as a fully imported model, priced at Rs 3.30 lakh (ex-showroom). In August this year, Kawasaki launched the locally manufactured version, bringing the price down to Rs 1.99 lakh. With GST 2.0 now in effect, the KLX 230’s price has been further reduced to Rs 1.84 lakh (ex-showroom). This marks a total reduction of around 44.24% from the price of the imported model.
