Honda has unveiled a 10-model line-up for India in one go, comprising seven genuinely new motorcycles and scooters plus three colour-updated existing models, spanning petrol, electric and flex-fuel technology. The standout is the ADV160, positioned as India's first E85 flex-fuel-compatible scooter, alongside the QC3 electric scooter and new Rebel 300 and Rebel 500 cruisers. This matters because Honda says all of this will be developed and built locally in India, with exports planned too, and confirms the company is finally addressing gaps against rivals like Royal Enfield and TVS across multiple segments at once rather than one model at a time. What's Genuinely New Here?
The seven new
models are the ADV 160 adventure scooter, the Honda CB 500 roadster, the Rebel 300 and Rebel 500 cruisers, the XR300L and XR300 Rally adventure motorcycles and the QC3 electric scooter. Separately, Honda is refreshing the existing CB350, CB350RS and CB350C with new colour options only, instead of any mechanical change. The Rebel 300, Rebel 500 and select other models in this line-up will also get Honda's E-Clutch technology which automates clutch operation to reduce rider fatigue in stop-and-go traffic, a feature increasingly common across the industry but new to these specific models.
What Makes The ADV160 And QC3 Worth Watching?
The Honda ADV 160 uses a 157cc liquid-cooled engine producing 16.3 hp and 14.9 Nm through a CVT gearbox and its defining feature is E85 flex-fuel compatibility, meaning it can run on a blend of up to 85% ethanol. It comes with single-channel ABS, traction control, a TFT display with Honda RoadSync connectivity and 27 litres of under-seat storage.
The QC3 electric scooter uses a 3kWh battery for an IDC-certified range of 151km, with 32 litres of storage and a claimed 80% charge time of 2 hours 40 minutes. Both will be sold through Honda's regular RedWing and premium BigWing dealership networks once launched.
When Can You Actually Buy One?
Honda has confirmed specifications for models like the ADV 160 but has explicitly said launch timelines and prices will be announced in phases, closer to each model's individual rollout rather than all at once. Buyers interested in any of these ten models should treat this as a formal unveiling of Honda's India roadmap rather than a launch since neither pricing nor exact availability dates have been confirmed for any of the seven new models yet.
