The Diavel V4 Black Roadster will soon be added to the Diavel V4 lineup in India. The motorcycle has a darker, more aggressive styling, thanks to its matte black, racing yellow, and titanium livery. While it retains the same V4 performance package that has made the Diavel one of the most unique motorcycles in the premium segment, the Black Roadster, as the name suggests, stands out with its menacing looks. Although Ducati has not announced an official launch date, the new variant is expected to reach Indian dealerships in the coming weeks, offering buyers another styling option alongside the existing colour schemes.
Ducati Diavel V4 Black Roadster: Design
While the core design remains the same, the Black Roadster variant of the Diavel V4 is centred around an all-black theme that enhances
the motorcycle's muscular proportions. The fuel tank, side panels, alloy wheels and exhaust, most of the visible components have a glossy black treatment. Ducati has incorporated subtle contrasting graphics to break the monotony while preserving the stealthy appearance. As the bike is simply a cosmetic update, it does not modify any signature elements. Hence, you can see that the LED headlamp with its C-shaped DRL, exposed rear wheel, broad 240-section rear tyre and sculpted fuel tank are still present. The new colour simply adds a more understated yet premium character to the motorcycle.
Ducati Diavel V4 Black Roadster Engine
The Black Roadster has the same 1,158cc V4 Granturismo engine. The liquid-cooled unit develops around 168hp and 126Nm and has a six-speed gearbox featuring Ducati Quick Shift. The engine also features rear-cylinder deactivation during idling and low-speed riding. Moreover, Ducati asserts that the V4 layout offers smoother performance while keeping overall weight lower than the previous V-twin-powered Diavel.
Ducati Diavel V4 Black Roadster Features
The Diavel V4 Black Roadster comes fitted with a premium set of electronics and rider aids. It gets a 5-inch full-colour TFT display with smartphone connectivity, multiple riding modes, power modes, cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control, launch control and cruise control. It also gets keyless ignition, full LED lighting, Ducati Power Launch, bi-directional quickshifter and fully adjustable suspension at both ends. Braking duties are looked after by Brembo hardware.
Ducati Diavel V4 Black Roadster Expected Price
As the Black Roadster is essentially a cosmetic addition to the existing Diavel V4 lineup, the prices for the bike could be just a little slightly more. For reference, the existing Ducati Red and Thrilling Black versions are available at Rs 29.66 lakh and Rs 29.38 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively.
