Kia Syros EV launch in India is expected to be just around the corner, as the carmaker has teased a BEV for India on its social media handles. Although Kia has not announced the Kia Syros EV launch date, the compact electric SUV is likely to hit the streets by the end of July or early in August 2026. The upcoming model will be the brand's affordable electric SUV in the country. Once launched, it will compete with rivals such as the Mahindra XUV 3XO EV, Tata Nexon EV, and the Tata Punch EV. Here's all you can expect from the new Syros EV in India.
Kia Syros EV Design
The upcoming compact e-SUV will closely resemble its ICE counterpart except for a few EV-specific changes. It could get a sealed front panel, a charging port positioned on the front left fender, as well
as aerodynamically designed alloy wheels. Kia may also revise bumpers across both front and rear. The rest of the key design elements like L-shaped DRLs and vertically positioned headlamps are likely to be carried over.
Kia Syros EV Interior And Features
Although the interior has not been revealed, the upcoming Kia electric SUV will most likely retain the layout already seen on its ICE sibling. To make the distinction, Kia, however, could add new upholstery and trim finishes. In terms of features, the new Kia Syros EV is likely to sport a 360-degree camera, dual 12.3-inch displays, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front and rear seats, and wireless phone charging. The EV could also introduce exclusive features such as Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality.
Kia Syros EV Battery Specifications
The Kia Syros EV is expected to offer 42kWh or 49 kWh battery options. The compact electric SUV is expected to feature a front-wheel-drive setup along with DC fast charging support. As for range, the larger battery pack could deliver a driving range of around 350-400 km on a single charge.
Kia Syros EV Price In India: What To Expect
The Kia Syros EV price in India is expected to fall between Rs 15 lakh and Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom). While the company is yet to announce variant-wise pricing, the Kia Syros EV on-road price will vary depending on the city, registration charges and insurance costs.
