TVS Motor Company has reduced the prices of its popular Raider 125 motorcycle following the implementation of the new GST 2.0 regime. Like other sub-350cc motorcycles in India, the Raider now benefits
from lower taxation, making it more competitive in the 125cc segment.
The 2025 TVS Raider range has seen price cuts of up to Rs 6,291, depending on the variant. The base Drum variant, which earlier retailed at Rs 87,625 (ex-showroom), is now priced at Rs 80,500. Other variants in the line-up have also received notable reductions.
Updated ex-showroom prices are as follows:
• Raider Drum – Rs 80,500
• Raider Single Seat – Rs 86,500
• Raider Split Seat – Rs 90,500
• Raider iGo – Rs 90,500
• Raider SSE – Rs 91,600
• Raider SX – Rs 94,500
This adjustment is expected to attract more buyers in the highly competitive 125cc commuter motorcycle market, where value for money plays a key role. The TVS Raider 125 is powered by a 124.8cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine producing 11.22 hp and 11.7 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 5-speed gearbox. With a kerb weight of 123 kg and ground clearance of 180 mm, the motorcycle is designed to balance performance with everyday usability. TVS claims an ARAI mileage of 56.7 km/l for the Raider 125.

Braking hardware consists of a 240 mm front disc and a 130 mm rear drum brake. The Raider runs on 17-inch tubeless tyres; 80/100 at the front and 100/90 at the rear, and comes with a 10-litre fuel tank.
The Raider 125 is offered in multiple configurations to cater to different rider preferences, from basic commuter setups to higher-spec variants with more features. With the new prices in place, the model is expected to strengthen its position against rivals such as the Honda SP125, Hero Glamour Xtec and Bajaj Pulsar NS125. The revised pricing makes the Raider one of the most attractively priced options in its class.
