Power Options
The Grand Vitara comes with three powertrains, each designed for a different kind of driver.
- 1.5L Petrol: This version uses Maruti’s K15C engine which produces 103 PS of power and 136.8 Nm of torque. It is available with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox and even offers AllGrip all-wheel drive (AWD). It delivers a mileage of up to 21.11 km/l, making it efficient for city and highway runs.
- 1.5L Strong-Hybrid Petrol: This is the tech-savvy version as it combines a petrol engine and an electric motor, which delivers up to 27.97 km/l and is one of the best in its class. The e-CVT automatic transmission ensures a smooth and quiet ride.
- 1.5L CNG: For budget-conscious buyers, the CNG option is ideal as it offers 26.6 km/kg and retains Maruti’s reliability.
Spacious and Smart
Despite being stylish and compact, the Grand Vitara offers generous space as it is 4345 mm long, 1795 mm wide and 1645 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2600 mm. The 373-litre boot space or 265 litres in hybrid trims ensures practicality for daily use and trips.

Safety and Technology
Safety also gets top priority with six airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Hill Hold Assist and ISOFIX child seat mounts. The 2025 model also offers disc brakes on all wheels for better control. Higher variants add premium touches like a 9-inch SmartPlay Pro+ touchscreen, 360-degree camera, panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, wireless charger and even a head-up display (HUD). Through Suzuki Connect, one can also track and control vehicle functions remotely via smartphone.
