Kinetic Green has introduced the E Luna Prime in India at a price of Rs 82,490 (ex-showroom). The new model builds on the success of the earlier E-Luna and is aimed squarely at India’s mass commuter segment.
Available in two range options — 110 km and 140 km — the E Luna Prime seeks to provide an affordable, electric alternative to 100–110cc petrol motorcycles, with a running cost as low as 10 paise per kilometre and a monthly ownership cost estimated at Rs 2,500.

Design And Features
The E Luna Prime is engineered for both practicality and durability. It comes with 16-inch alloy wheels, tubeless tyres, and a spacious front-loading area for carrying goods, making it suitable for daily commuting and utility purposes. The scooter also features a bright LED headlamp, visor, rim tape, silver cladding, and stylish decals. A digital colour instrument cluster adds modern functionality, while six colour choices give buyers more variety.
Range, Variants and Cost Advantage
Kinetic Green offers the E Luna Prime in two variants, delivering 110 km and 140 km per charge. Compared with conventional ICE motorcycles that cost around Rs 7,500 per month to own and run, the E Luna Prime’s low-cost structure allows savings of up to Rs 60,000 annually. The company also positions the model as a multi-utility vehicle, capable of supporting small businesses and cargo needs in addition to commuting.
Market Positioning and Availability
The E Luna Prime targets a large market of nearly 75 crore Indians who still do not own a two-wheeler, according to Kinetic Green. With over 300 dealerships nationwide, the company is rolling out the new model in both urban and rural markets. Positioned against 100cc and 110cc motorcycles, the E Luna Prime is expected to appeal to customers seeking an affordable and sustainable alternative with low running costs and practical features.
