The Skoda Epiq, which is the brand’s most smallest EV to date, is set to have its official international debut on May 19, 2026. The Czech manufacturer has revealed design sketches of the entry-level electric SUV, and judging by the looks, we can say that the model retains much of its elements from the near-production version that was showcased on Munich Motor Show last year. It measures 4,100mm length, and is touted as the smallest EV of Skoda yet, which can accommodate up to 5 people. According to Skoda, the Epiq will be the its first production model to embrace its 'Modern Solid design' language across both the exterior and interior. For the Indian market, the automaker hasn't made any announcement, but the Skoda EV is expected to arrive here
following its global debut somewhere around mid-2027. Read on to know more.
Skoda Epiq Exterior and Interior
The production-spec Skoda Epiq EV will have a Tech-Deck' face, featuring a glossy black panel instead of a conventional grille, which integrates radar and camera-based driver assistance sensors.
There's also a new T-shaped LED lighting signature, with bifunctional LED elements that serve as both daytime running lights and indicators. Other key details include 8-slat bumper with silver accents, T-shaped taillights, a roof-mounted spoiler, black cladding and roof rails.
As seen in the interior sketch, the Epiq EV seems to have a clutter-free cabin, with a simple dashboard layout. Skoda has emphasised on practicality and modern features by offering an open storage area and a free-standing centre console with wireless charging. There's also usage of sustainable materials throughout the cabin. Key possible features include a 10.24-inch driver’s display, a 13-inch infotainment system.
Skoda Epiq Powertrain
Skoda has not yet disclosed the technical details of the Epiq, but industry reports indicate that the EV will come with a front-wheel-drive configuration. The EV, based on the MEB Entry platform (also found on the Volkswagen ID. Polo), could get two battery pack options. The Epiq is claimed to offer a range of up to 425 kilometres on a single charge.
