Kinetic is gearing up for a major comeback and this time in the fast-growing electric vehicle (EV) world and the plans are exciting, especially for new riders and EV beginners. Kinetic Engineering Limited
has revealed a detailed roadmap showing what it aims to achieve by 2027 through its EV-focused subsidiary, Kinetic Watts & Volts Ltd. (KWVL).
The company is preparing to launch a brand-new lineup of electric scooters, electric motorcycles and even special delivery-focused two-wheelers designed for businesses. This means Kinetic wants to be ready for everyone from daily commuters to delivery partners.
According to the company’s plan, Kinetic will develop three main categories of electric two-wheelers- electric scooters, electric motorcycles and delivery electric two-wheelers. This is a smart move because the EV market in India is growing quickly, and different riders need different kinds of vehicles.

What makes Kinetic’s comeback even more interesting is its focus on building key components in-house. Instead of depending entirely on external suppliers, Kinetic plans to develop motors, controllers and battery packs.
The battery supply will come from the company’s Range-X facility, which can produce up to 60,000 LFP and NMC batteries every year. This allows Kinetic to maintain better quality control and potentially offer more reliable products.
Kinetic has set a clear target to sell 5,000 electric two-wheelers by March 2026 and later scale up production to 60,000 units annually by FY 2026–27. To support these sales, the company is working toward building a nationwide network of 500 dealers and service centres.
Kinetic has confirmed that it plans to enter select global markets by 2027. This indicates confidence in its EV technology and its ability to compete internationally.
To prepare for the EV future, Kinetic Watts & Volts has created the Kinetic Lab, a special training centre dedicated to electric two-wheelers. Here, technicians, service engineers and dealer staff will learn about EV diagnostics, repair work and battery systems. This ensures that when Kinetic’s EVs hit the road, there will be trained experts ready to maintain them.
With a mix of new products, in-house technology, a large dealership network and global plans, Kinetic is clearly aiming for a strong comeback in India’s EV space. For new riders who are curious about electric mobility, these upcoming scooters and motorcycles could become exciting, accessible options in the next few years.
