Tata Motors has dropped another teaser for the upcoming Sierra SUV, revealing two key highlights: a new red exterior shade and a triple-screen cabin layout. The latest preview comes ahead of Tata’s comeback
SUV's India launch, with its debut slated for November 25, 2025.
The Sierra’s latest teaser focuses on the interior, which now features a three-screen dashboard setup. It consists of a digital driver’s display, a central infotainment touchscreen, and a third co-driver screen. The UI design for the instrument cluster appears similar to what’s seen in the Curvv, displaying readouts such as 17kpl fuel economy and over 300km of range with less than half a tank.

Interestingly, the display also shows a lane departure warning indicator, confirming that Tata will equip the Sierra with an ADAS suite. Above the instrument binnacle sits a raised panel that could potentially house a head-up display. The teaser also reveals a touch-based HVAC control panel borrowed from the Curvv, featuring buttons for the powered tailgate and a 360-degree camera. The presence of two temperature controls and a sync function confirms the availability of dual-zone climate control.
Other visible features include a four-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo, touch-capacitive buttons, and an auto-dimming IRVM. The cabin theme follows a grey-and-black dual-tone scheme, similar to what’s seen in the Curvv EV. Previous teasers have already confirmed features like a panoramic sunroof, rear sunblinds, and parking sensors at both ends. Expected creature comforts include ventilated front seats, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a wireless charger, six airbags, and an electronic parking brake.

Under the hood, the Sierra is likely to offer multiple 1.5-litre engine choices, including the Curvv’s 118hp diesel and the new 170hp turbo-petrol engine shared with the Harrier and Safari. A naturally aspirated petrol engine may also join the lineup, all paired with manual and automatic options.
An all-electric version of the Sierra is also in the works, expected to use either a 55kWh or 65kWh battery pack. Once launched, the Sierra will compete with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Maruti Grand Vitara, while its EV counterpart will rival the upcoming Creta EV and Mahindra BE 6.
