The 2026 Skoda Kodiaq with ADAS has been launched in India, making it the first model in brand's portfolio to offer this feature. As part of the update, prices of the entry-level variant have been reduced, while the mid-spec Sportline and range-topping Selection L&K variants have become more expensive. The second-generation Kodiaq was launched in India last year, but it did not include ADAS that time, despite expectations from the market. Skoda has now introduced this functionality for its flagship SUV, and it is anticipated that other models in the range may also follow the suit. The inclusion of ADAS in the Skoda Kodiaq will help it to strengthen appeal among rivals in the segment such as the Volkswagen Tayron, Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line, Hyundai
Tucson, Jeep Meridian and MG Hector, all of which already offer the technology. Besides the safety and minor equipment changes, the Kodiaq remains mechanically and cosmetically unchanged.
2026 Skoda Kodiaq: Here's What You'll Get Now
Skoda has introduced ADAS in select variants of the Kodiaq. For instance, the sportier sportier seven-seat Sportline and the top-of-the-line Selection L&K variants are available with the ADAS suite, which comprises lane keep assist, and blindspot monitor, adaptive cruise control, emergency braking, exit warning, and rear cross traffic alert. Note that the base Lounge trim, which is offered with a 5-seating layout, does not offer ADAS.
In addition, the Kodiaq Sportline version now comes with an illuminated LED strip integrated into the grille as well as a 360-degree camera, which were previously restricted to the higher-spec Selection L&K variant.
