The Tata Punch facelift is set to launch in India tomorrow, January 13, bringing a round of updates to one of the country’s most popular micro SUVs. Tata Motors has already revealed key details about the refreshed
model, including variant-wise features, design changes, as well as equipment additions. The facelift focuses on improving visual appeal and adding more technology without altering the core mechanical package. Buyers can expect changes to the exterior styling, interior layout, and feature distribution across variants. The updated Punch will continue to target urban buyers looking for a compact SUV with higher ground clearance and safety credentials. Prices are expected to see a minor revision compared to the outgoing model, reflecting the added features and cosmetic updates.

Punch Facelift: Revised Design
The facelifted Punch gets noticeable styling updates at the front. These include a redesigned grille, new LED DRLs, and revised headlamp elements. The bumper design has also been updated to give the car a sharper appearance. The colour palette comprises shades like Bengal Rouge, Pristine White, Cyantafic, Coorg Clouds, Caramel and Daytona Grey.
While the overall shape remains the same, these updates aim to bring the Punch in line with Tata’s newer design language seen on models like the Nexon and Harrier.
Punch Facelift: Variants
The all-new SUV will be available in six variants: Smart, Pure, Pure+, Adventure, Accomplished and Accomplished+ S. Each variant gets a defined set of upgrades, with top-end versions receiving the majority of new technology and convenience features.
Punch Facelift: Updated Interior And Features
Inside, the Tata Punch facelift receives a revised dashboard layout with a larger touchscreen infotainment system. The new display supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The digital instrument cluster is also updated.
Other additions include a 360-degree camera, wireless phone charging, improved steering-mounted controls, HD reverse camera, height adjustable driver seat, cruise control, auto-dimming IRVM, automatic temperature control, voice-assisted electric sunroof, and LED fog lamps with cornering function, depending on the variant.
Punch Facelift: Powertrain Lineup
There are no changes to the engine options. The Punch facelift will continue with the 1.2-litre petrol engine, available with both manual and AMT gearboxes. The CNG version is also expected to remain part of the lineup. No mechanical or suspension changes have been announced.

Punch Facelift: Expected Pricing and Market Position
Prices will be revealed at launch tomorrow. A small increase over the current model is likely due to the added equipment and design updates. The Punch facelift will continue to compete with models like the Hyundai Exter, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, and Maruti Suzuki Fronx.
