At a quick glance, the 2025 Hunter 350 looks almost identical to the outgoing version. But look closer and you’ll notice that Royal Enfield has fine-tuned the motorcycle in ways that genuinely elevate the overall package. And by elevate, we mean it finally feels like the motorcycle it should have been from the start. It has always been a strong value-for-money offering, but the new Hunter 350 is now more comfortable, better equipped, and somehow manages to deliver even greater bang for your buck. So, what’s new for 2025?
2025 Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Review – Design: Subtle Refresh, Renewed Charm
Instead of going down the route of heavy cosmetic redesign, Royal Enfield has chosen a more practical strategy—introducing fresh colour schemes without
reworking the motorcycle’s basic form.
Our test bike wore the new Rio White shade, offered on the Mid variant. Alongside this, the Mid trim also gets a Graphite Grey option. The Top variant, on the other hand, receives two new colour options — London Red and Tokyo Black. While this may suggest the variants differ in features, the truth is simpler: the visual palette is the only real differentiator.
Three older colour schemes continue into 2025 as well—Factory Black for the Base trim, Dapper Grey for the Mid variant, and Rebel Blue for the Top variant.
2025 Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Review – Features: Practical Additions for Everyday Riding
Royal Enfield has added several convenience-oriented features to the 2025 Hunter 350. An LED headlamp, a Type-C 27W fast-charging USB port, and the company’s Tripper Navigation pod now come standard on the Mid and Top trims. The Base variant still gets a halogen headlight.
The LED headlight, while brighter and offering a stronger throw than the halogen unit, does introduce a glare effect when light bounces off dark surfaces—something that may take riders a bit of time to adjust to. Personally, the older halogen setup seemed more confidence-inspiring when it came to spotting road hazards at night.
The fast-charging USB port is a welcome upgrade. Its positioning beneath the clutch lever isn’t the most convenient for frequent plugging and unplugging, but once you connect a cable to your phone mount, you’re unlikely to fiddle with it often.
The inclusion of the Tripper Navigation pod on higher variants is another plus point. Given that most Hunter riders spend their time navigating tight city streets, turn-by-turn directions add real practicality.
2025 Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Review – Performance: City-Friendly as Ever
While the mechanical changes are minimal, the riding experience feels noticeably improved, primarily because of the switch from linear to progressive springs for the rear shock absorbers. Previously, the softer front end combined with a stiff rear created an odd imbalance, especially over sharp potholes. The bike never felt quite settled.
With progressive springs, the suspension now reacts more uniformly, resulting in better composure and increased comfort over broken city roads. The seat also gets denser foam, cutting down fatigue over longer commutes. A slip-and-assist clutch has been added as well—not a necessity, but the lighter lever feel certainly makes stop-and-go traffic less tiring.
The engine remains unchanged: the familiar 349cc J-Series single producing 20.2bhp and 27Nm, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The standout trait continues to be its punchy low-end torque, making urban riding effortless. It’s not a high-revving engine, but it performs willingly when pushed.
2025 Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Review – Verdict: More Value Than Ever
So, what elevates the 2025 Hunter? In short—its value proposition has only strengthened. When the update first launched, Royal Enfield increased prices by a reasonable ₹7,000 to account for the added features. But following the GST 2.0 revision, prices have actually dropped by as much as ₹15,000. Remarkably, the new Hunter 350 is now cheaper than the older model.
The previous version was already a strong value-for-money motorcycle despite its drawbacks. Now, with its biggest shortcomings addressed and its price lowered, the 2025 Hunter 350 sets a new benchmark in its class. Simply put, it delivers a level of VFM rarely seen in this segment.
