Ducati has launched the 2025 Streetfighter V4 and V4 S in India, priced at Rs 28.68 lakh and Rs 32.38 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively. Deliveries have already begun, giving Indian superbike fans access to one of the most advanced and aggressive naked motorcycles.
A “naked” bike like the Streetfighter V4 is essentially a superbike without the fairings, which means you get all the performance and technology of a track machine but in a more road-friendly and upright form.
Engine
Both the models are equipped with Ducati’s 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine, which is the same powerhouse found in its Panigale superbike series. It produces 212 bhp at 13,500 rpm and 120 Nm of torque at 11,250 rpm. Putting that in perspective, this is more power than many
small cars carry that too in a machine weighing under 200 kg.
Ducati has fine-tuned the cam profiles for quicker throttle response and the bike continues to use its unique counter-rotating crankshaft and “Twin Pulse” firing order, which make it both thrilling and stable at high revs. With the optional Akrapovic exhaust system, the bike’s power surge to 224 bhp.

Track Tech
The 2025 model gets a chassis setup closer to Ducati’s racing machines, as the Streetfighter V4 S now features Ohlins Smart EC 3.0 semi-active suspension, forged aluminium wheels and a lightweight lithium-ion battery, which not only makes this power machine faster but also more comfortable and responsive. The standard V4 uses Showa Big Piston forks and Sachs suspension, offering top-tier performance for serious riders.
Braking is handled by new Brembo Hypure callipers, which are lighter and better at heat dissipation and paired with a smart Race eCBS system that improves stability under hard braking.
Electronics
Ducati hasn’t just focused on power, but it has also packed the new Streetfighter with cutting-edge electronics with the six-axis IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) that manages traction control, wheelie control and slide control. New for 2025 is the Ducati Vehicle Observer (DVO) system, which uses virtual sensors to constantly adjust how the bike reacts to your riding.
There is also a DQS 2.0 quickshifter for superfast gear changes and an improved Engine Brake Control for smoother cornering. Riders can easily switch between Race, Sport, Road and Wet modes using the bike’s new 6.9-inch TFT display, which shows more data than ever in a clean, race-inspired layout.
Design and Comfort
Visually, the new Streetfighter looks even meaner, as the LED headlamp is sharper, the tail section has a split “double C” light design and the aerodynamic biplane wings now deliver more downforce for stability at high speeds.
Ducati has also worked on rider comfort as the fuel tank is slimmer, the seat is more supportive and the handlebar sits 10mm closer for a more relaxed riding position. Heat ducts under the fairing redirect hot air away from the rider’s legs which is a thoughtful upgrade for Indian conditions.
