Tata Motors recently unveiled the exterior of the new Tiago ahead of its launch on May 28, 2026. Compared to its predecessor, the 2026 version gets a more sharper design. There's no denying that fact that the Tiago has always been a strong volume driver for the brand due to its multiple powertrain choices (petrol and CNG), and affordable pricing. Now, the 2026 Tiago is set to maintain that position with sharp styling and a range of new features. Here’s how the new model looks different from the outgoing version.
Tata Tiago New vs Old: Exterior Design
The overall silhouette remains untouched, but Tata has given a new design to the front. One of the biggest differences you can notice is that the LED headlamps are now sleeker, and they have eyebrow-shaped LED daytime running lamps. The grille
remains the same, but the chrome strip is no longer part of the package. The bumper at the front is also new, and it skips the silver accents this time. Another major update comes in the form of new pixel-style LED fog lamps. For the reference, the outgoing version has halogen units.
Tata has also added newly-designed 15-inch alloy wheels, a 360-degree camera setup, and black wheel arch cladding, repositioned Tata badging at the rear, revised rear bumper with a black-out section on the lower part and relocated rear camera module. The LED taillamp setup has also seen changes in the form of three vertical LED elements on both sides, and they connected by a slim light bar across the tailgate.
Tata Tiago New vs Old: Interior Design
Tata Motors has not fully revealed the interior of the facelifted Tiago yet, but we can expect it to be a bit more updated than before. Buyers can expect a free-standing digital driver’s display.
A revised upholstery could also be on the cards. That said, the existing features, including a 0.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo, will likely to be continued.
