Royal Enfield clocked sales of more than 10 lakh motorcycles in India during the calendar year 2025, for the first time ever in its history. As per official sales data, the brand recorded total wholesales of close to about 10.7 lakh units during this period, setting a new annual high in domestic sales volumes. This staggering number proves that growth is still scaling up as Royal Enfield had managed to breach figures of over 8 lakh units in 2023 and 2024, before finally surmounting the symbolic barrier of more than 10 lakh units in 2025. The sales cover heritage, cruiser, adventure, pure sport and roadster models thus reflecting healthy demand across its full product portfolio.

Detailed Sales Breakdown Through 2025
Throughout 2025, Royal Enfield’s monthly and quarterly data show consistent traction in its core segments. Several months, including September and October, posted especially strong figures, with monthly sales exceeding 1.20 lakh units during festive season peaks. Domestic demand was the main driver, while exports also contributed to overall volumes, though overseas shipments grew at a more moderate rate in some months. Model contributions were led by the 350cc family, such as Classic 350, Bullet 350, Hunter 350 and Meteor 350, which together accounted for the bulk of volumes.
Domestic vs Export Performance
For the year, domestic sales formed the core of Royal Enfield’s volumes, with strong year-on-year growth reported regularly through 2025. Several months saw double-digit increases compared to the same periods in 2024, particularly in the 350cc segment, benefitting from price adjustments following GST rate cuts. Exports also grew, though at varying rates, with some months showing year-on-year increases in overseas dispatches.
Segment And Model Trends
The 350cc class remained the backbone of Royal Enfield’s sales volume in 2025, consistently posting higher unit sales than larger-capacity models. Bikes above 350cc contributed meaningfully but at a comparatively lower share. Newer models and refreshed variants helped sustain consumer interest across the mid-size segment.
