India’s rapidly growing family-car segment is about to get a new entry as Nissan has officially confirmed that it will reveal an all-new B-segment MPV (Multi-Purpose Vehicle) for the Indian market this month. The company has shared the date, time and event details, raising excitement among buyers who want a practical, spacious, family-friendly vehicle.
The reveal will take place through an exclusive virtual event on Thursday, 18 December 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, giving everyone a chance to watch the global-first preview online. Nissan describes this MPV as the “next product in its renewed India lineup,” pointing that the brand is gearing up for a strong comeback with fresh models.
A B-MPV is a compact 7-seater family car which is bigger
than hatchbacks and compact SUVs, but smaller and more affordable than large MPVs like the Toyota Innova. These cars are designed to offer more seating space, flexible interiors, good fuel efficiency and comfortable ride for families.
Nisaan’s upcoming B-MPV will compete with Renault Triber and Maruti Ertiga.

The MPV will be unveiled by two top Nissan leaders Leon Dorssers, Chief Commercial Officer for the AMIEO region (Africa, Middle East, India, Europe & Oceania) and Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director of Nissan Motor India.
Such senior presence highlights how important this new model is for Nissan’s India strategy.
While Nissan has not revealed full details yet, industry insiders and early teasers suggest modern and premium design, three-row seating, strong focus on safety like ADAS level 2, tech-loaded cabin, fuel-efficient petrol or hybrid engine options and competitive pricing which is expected to fall between Rs 10 lakh - 15 lakh.
Nissan has previously received praise for the Magnite, which became popular due to strong features at an aggressive price, and now the brand may follow a similar strategy for the new MPV to attract families and urban buyers.
Nissan has been rebuilding its product portfolio in India. A 7-seater is a smart move because families in urban, semi-urban and rural India still prefer MPVs for their practicality and comfort, and with rising demand for spacious lifestyle vehicles, Nissan aims to strengthen its foothold with a fresh and modern offering.
