If you have been looking at a stylish, sporty motorcycle like the Aprilia RS 457 or Tuono 457, now might be the perfect time to choose from one. Aprilia has announced that customers can save up to Rs 60,000 if they buy before September 22, as the new tax rule which is called GST 2.0 will soon make bikes above 350cc more expensive.
Currently, the Aprilia RS 457 is priced at Rs 4.23 lakh (ex-showroom), but after the GST hike, it could cost you around Rs 29,000 more. Similarly, the Tuono 457, priced at Rs 3.95 lakh, may see a hike of about Rs 27,000. Aprilia is highlighting these savings to encourage bike enthusiasts to grab their favourite Aprilia bikes before the prices increase.

Dealers are also offering special finance schemes until September 21 and include loans covering the full ex-showroom price, interest rates starting from 7.99%, and repayment periods of up to 5 years. However it is a short window, but it is designed to make the purchase easier for customers.
Although the impact of GST 2.0 won’t just be on Aprilia bikes, other brands selling mid-capacity and premium motorcycles above 350 cc will also be affected. So, if you are planning to buy a sporty motorbike anytime soon, booking one can save you a lot of money before the new tax kicks in.
