BSA Motorcycles revealed its first-ever adventure bike, the Thunderbolt at EICMA 2025 . This marks a new chapter for the brand as it blends its old-school charm with modern technology to take on today’s competitive ADV (Adventure) segment.
The BSA Thunderbolt is built on the same platform as the Yezdi Adventure, combining classic design with rugged performance. This bike is powered by a 334cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine which produces 29.2 bhp and 29.9 Nm of torque and paired with a six-speed gearbox. The engine meets Euro 5+ emission norms, which means it is cleaner and more efficient. This setup is ideal for both daily commutes and long-distance rides, whether on smooth tarmac or rocky trails.

Visually, the Thunderbolt has a tall stance, a rally-style front beak and wire-spoke wheels which are 21-inch front and 17-inch rear, packed in dual-purpose tyres. It is clearly designed for serious adventure riding.
